Admission Application

As service is rendered, registration fees are not refundable. Tuition fees or deposits for classes taken are also not refundable. The fees paid are not transferable to another person, a new program, or a later time. The school fee paid shall be for the duration of the program in question. If the student has not completed his education cycle at the time of the designated time, a continuation fee will be imposed on him as a penalty. If your file does not have academic or financial activity for sixty (60) days, it will take inactive status, including new registrations that may be required. If your file is inactive for 90 days, it will be closed and $100/150 USD required for reopening the file will be required. If the file is closed or abandoned for 120 days (4 months), your file cannot be reactivated, in this case, a new registration must be done.

CCU is not a Title IV-approved university; therefore does not accept Title IV financial aid or government financial assistance to our students. For this reason, some schools may refuse admission to our graduates but the real reason as some schools told us, “your tuition is too low if we transfer your students, we’ll lose money.”Title IV funding will twist our arms to increase tuition substantially and twist our arms to accept immoral conduct. If we were a Title IV school, we could not have such low tuition but we would have to increase our tuition by 7 times more. CCU wants all its students to earn their degrees without debt or a mortgage for life. It seems to make more sense to sacrifice a little to avoid debt. To support this opinion, CCU has maintained low tuition for many years to help students stay out of debt. Of course, for those who want to go that route, we can’t control that.

Accreditation along with transferring credits is as complicated as those who invented the system. Although transferring credits is at the discretion of the receiving school and it should not also be based on Title IV funding. However, other schools may use that to deny you admission by using the "Not accredited." CCU advisers all students, should they be interested in transferring to check with the receiving institution to see if credits from CCU will be accepted at that institution. No institution of Higher Education can guarantee the transfer of credits from one institution to another.

Although some universities have accepted our students without a fight. For some, we have to let them know it is illegal to refuse an admission based solely on accreditation. since CCU is not a Title 4, Title 4, some may use their school policy to refuse admission and accept credits from CCU. Consequently, CCU makes no guarantee of the acceptance of CCU credits to other institutions. Transfer of credits from CCU to other institutions of higher learning is solely up to the discretion and desire of the institution to where the student is applying. If you plan to transfer to another institution, it is your responsibility as a student to inquire whether or not the educational institution into which you plan to transfer concerning the transferability of credits received through any other institution, including CCU in advance of enrolment.

The above repetition is not a mistake. The repetition is to prove to you how transparent and above reproach we want to be. CCU is not a secular school but a biblical school focusing on the work of the kingdom of God.

I further understand that degrees offered at CCU are professional in nature and build upon a biblically-based foundation, and the acceptance of CCU’s degrees in any industry (educational, or for the pursuit of employment) cannot be guaranteed, promised, or implied by any Institution of Higher Education. Employers hire people based on their own needs, agenda, and the qualification of the potential employee.
