Welcome to Cornerstone Christian University!

General Admission Process

Prospective students interested in enrolling must complete an official application with the Office of the Registrar. The Admission Application can be conveniently submitted online using a credit card. To begin the process, please click on the Admission Request form. Each applicant will be evaluated individually on a case-by-case basis.

Cornerstone Christian University is committed to providing high-quality education. We carefully curate both secular and biblically-based curricula to ensure you receive the best educational value for your investment.

Please note that CCU is not a Title IV-approved institution and, as such, does not participate in Title IV financial aid programs. However, we do offer a scholarship program for eligible students to help offset tuition costs.

Registration Steps

1. Application To initiate the application process, obtain the admission package as outlined above. Complete all applicable forms thoroughly and include a payment of $80.00 via check, money order, or credit card. This fee covers both the application and ID processing. Applications that are incomplete will not be reviewed or processed—no exceptions.

2. Admission Requirements To be considered for admission, applicants must submit the following:

  • A completed official application along with a non-refundable application and ID fee of $80.00 in U.S. dollars.
  • Documentation indicating that you have earned or are within six semester hours of a Master’s Degree or its equivalent.
  • Official transcripts and relevant documents confirming the completion of a Master’s degree.
  • A letter of intent outlining your method of payment for tuition.
  • Two letters of recommendation (one from a professional source and one academic).
  • A completed payment agreement form from CCU.
  • A resume detailing your work history and at least two professional recommendations.
  • A privacy rights acknowledgment form (provided by CCU).
  • A clear headshot for identification purposes.
  • Evidence of proficiency in English, demonstrated through the letter of intent and interview.

Note: The Admissions Committee considers various factors during the application review process, including work experience, grade point average (2.0 for undergraduate and 3.0 for graduate on a 4-point scale), professional references, financial capability, and performance in prerequisite courses for the Master’s program. For applicants with a GPA below 2.0 (or 3.0) and five or more years of professional experience, the quality and diversity of work history will also be considered.

Denial of Admission: Admission may be denied based on evidence indicating that the applicant:

  • Is not qualified or is underprepared for graduate study.
  • Engages in behavior contrary to university standards.
  • Submits fraudulent information or documents.
  • Exhibits unstable emotional health.

Evaluation

Upon receipt of a complete application and all required documents—including the non-refundable application fee—the Admissions Committee will evaluate the application. If accepted, the applicant will be scheduled for an interview/orientation, which serves as the final step in the admission process. This interview will help determine the candidate’s suitability for attendance at CCU.

Initial Fees

If the admission request is approved, the applicant must make full payment for the upcoming year or program. Should full payment be unfeasible, a payment plan may be arranged, starting with an initial down payment equivalent to the tuition for three courses in U.S. dollars.

Agreement

Following the evaluation process, we will collaborate with you to establish the most suitable financial arrangement. Subsequently, we will provide documentation for you to sign, formalizing the agreement between you and the University.
